Nostalgia just released :

PROJECT FIRESTART +6 Easyflash

One of the best games ever made for c64 is now on EF cartridge. No more disk swapping or slow loading times. Enjoy this game as it was meant to be played!
Also save and load the game from the Easyflash memory. You can even backup/restore the save games to the floppy or mass storage devices if you need to flash your cartridge for some reason

Download here:
http://noname.c64.org/csdb/rel...?id=104387

Best regards
Tomaz

You are my hero. Ok, this is reason enough to upgrade my 1541u.

Ooohh, I have been waiting to play this game, in the dark, for the atmosphere, to really get into it.
Hope I will have time for it soon! Then I will play it from the EF for sure Smile

(Except for saving) it worked fine on the 1541U-II, had never heard of or played it before. It's probably a little easier if you have a map over the layout when playing.

was anyone able to run it on the turbo chameleon?

I'm unable to start it, all the other easyflash games work perfectly though.

A true classic! And this is the way I wanted it to be when I bought the original back then. A wonderful game!

I wonder if jt-3d from the forums here has seen that version? He uses the main character as his avatar.

Speaking of this game - someone started creating it on the PC - I remember downloading a somewhat playable version. Was pretty cool.

Just make sure you have version 2.4 firmware on your ultimate. Then select the crt image just like you would a d64. Press return and it should load automatically.

Is there a consolidated base of easyflash converted games somewhere? This is great! I found a few on CSDb, but wondering if there is a good place to find more?

I have seen some compilations, but not finding links at the moment. Could be something buried in this thread, but don't really have time to skim it right now http://www.lemon64.com/forum/v...mp;start=0

There are a few games converted to it here though http://skoe.de/easyflash/index...patibility

There is a complete list of EasyFlash releases on the Alien Flash Wiki and the Alien Flash thread is regularly updated with all the new EasyFlash releases.
