Now here's a game I have ALWAYS wanted to hack - I've always wanted to be able to turn on the laser whenever I want. Well dream no more because I have finally created a crazy hack that does just that - along with a whole host of other goodies. I can now shoot those nasty blocks till my heart's content... oh - and there's also the ending to see and comment on...

Press the following keys during game play to turn on/off the extra features:

Q = Enlarge bat
E = Lasers ON
T = Open exit (level skip)
U = Infinite lives ON
O = Infinite lives OFF
@ = Chuck-a-block
S = Speed up*
F = Fast ball
H = Slow ball
K = Normal speed ball
: = Exit to final level
= = Biggie Sprites
X = Ickle Sprites
V = Screen colour
N = Exit to game ending**
, = Freeze nasties
/ = Unfreeze nasties
C= Key = Stop ball falling
L-Shift = Start ball faling

Notes
-----
* Hold this down to speed up the game!

** Just hit the final boss with one hit!

Had a lot of fun playing with this one - played this game to death from the Magnificent Seven compilation (Probably the best compilation i've seen on the C64).

There is a cool glitch where you get to the last screen, then manage to get the level skip portal appear - which takes you back a level. Going forward a level again shows you Doh, but he's inactive and you get enemies appearing from the top of the screen. You can repeat this and the level counter continues to go up.

Yeah that was a nice compilation.
Wizball, head over heels, arkanoid, Frankie goes to hollywood.... all classics.
The less said about Cobra and Short Circuit, the better. Razz

Another challenge to really make it a superlative version - add in Martin Galway's improved digi drums version of the title theme rather than the original, just to make it 101%

Cracking work all round though - the lasers on the C64 version were bloody rare as hell!
