Hi all,

Ebay-ed my first C64 yesterday, should be with me in a week or so. It's the old style breadbox type, lets hope it works as promised Surprised

Not my first taste of commodore machines, had a plus 4 that I swapped for a CB back in the early 90's, but sadly I managed to blow it up! - also I've been mucking about with VICE on my PC.

Anyways, I've been flirting with the idea of buying a 64 for a while, should make a nice hobby, will be fun learning assembler and coding up a few demo's, seeing and hearing them running on real 64 rather than just the emu.

Looking forward to being a regular.
Cheers.

Ebay-ed 64 generally in good condition, however datassette has seen better days, looks like someone has trapped the cable in a door, takes a few tries and wiggles of the cable to save/load stuff, bit of a pain.

Was great to fire up and view on a CRT TV, much better coding the real thing than an emu, really get a feel for the raw 80's technology, if that makes any sense Smile

Cheers.
