|
|
This is a 16MB Flash cartridge with USB and an AR Freezer Cartridge mode and EasyFlash compatibility.
I know that only a few people knew about this as I was waiting until it was finished before telling everyone about it.
In theory, this could also be used to download software directly into the C64 via the USB and to even transfer D64 images, someone would have to write an application to do this.
Right now I only have enough parts to build a couple more, one of which is going to Skoe and the other to enthusi.

Stingray, the download direct to 64 mode, can you explain that a little further. What file formats can be sent as it is now in your demo?
Look like a great device. _________________ |

Great that you were able to get it working!
Will you release it publicly or build some yourself to those who can afford to buy one?
Can we put 16 EasyFlash .crt images on it and swap between them? Maybe 15 at least?
EasyFlash with USB-connector... what a nice setup - just like the Virtual Boy FlashBoy. |

How much RAM does it have? I'm currently looking at the Nordic Replay, which seems really useful because you can run Turbo Macro Pro off of it.
How much would the price be for a kit? Soldering the SMD is no problem for me. |

I will be interested in one of these also. and would like to know how much one or more are.
i am not too sure if i can solder it together my self. but i do have a hat air solder which makes SMD soldering a bit easier.
can you tell me what the cost of a fully built one is. _________________ 5x 100% working C64s, 1x128, 128D, 1541UII+T adpt, 1541, 1541-II, ARVI, UIEC2SD, 2x EASYFLASH, ZoomFloppy, Chameleon 64, EASYFLASH3, +4 and 100s of MOS ICs, CAANOO, WIZ... |

You know, looking at that PCB, self soldering is going to be really tough for most people. On products like that the assembly part isn't the greatest cost if you use someone that supplies PCB's, components and assembly all in one. _________________ |

If it would help me to afford one of those I'd be willing to solder it myself as well. |

When I saw the logo I instantly started singing.....

Was all this for real or just some kind of hell

Thank you, stingray. It took hours to do it and I'm glad it was appreciated
You have a PM with the Hi-Res version.

I just watched the videos. I was impressed before I watched them -- now, I'm simply AMAZED!
Excellent work - I sincerely hope these get a production run as I am very interested in this cart!!! _________________ My favorite game houses: Broderbund and Synapse. |
