I don't get it, Bohoki... what's the point of wiring/converting images? Do you just like seeing how existing JPG images would look on a C64?

there isnt much hate in questioning the point of an activity that could essentially be done by a batch script, really.

Timanthes and Project One will do the trick, among other programs.

You need to upload every last one of these images to Deviant Art AS. SOON. AS. POSSIBLE. That can of beans on the first disk is sure to be one of the most popular images ever. I'm thinking of using it as my avatar (so I can say I had it as my avatar before it was cool). Very Happy

J

No hate, I tried to very carefully word my questions. I'd just like to understand his motivation in doing this.

i maybe was a bit to hash but dont worry it wasnt meant that way.... i think what he is trying to do is to make a record in picture releases, but its not all about that. its about pictures to so it will be interesting to see what pictures he pick, and ofcourse the big question is, will he keep it going a disk a day for a whole year?... it will be alot of hard work.. but i bet he can do it.

i guess i would answer part one of the question i do it the same reason anybody else does

and the second part yes i like seeing how they would look and though otherpeople might as well i do it for myself first then i think maybe someone else woudl like to view these pictures that are curious and nostalgic

i use project one and mooke the sliders around till i get a fairly decent image

my prefered mode is pixels to the left/yuv distance saturation about 75% and the contrast about 60%i zoom in and out and keep aspect ratio sometimes i like to to a little squashing some times i use the color sensitive mode (mostlly on photographs and tv captures)to keep detail and on my 1902 it makes the images a little taller than they look on the project one most of these images can be found in the 828 koala files i posted a while ago but they are kin dof useless untill they are renamed and placed on a .d64

the beanie weenie was the first image i converted i like beanie weenie its like pork and beans with chopped up hot dogs
