So now that The Wild Bunch (Psytronik) has been released, I thought it would be fitting to find out what western/ cowboy games you guys like playing on the c64?
My two faves have always been
Highnoon (Ocean)
and
West Bank (Gremlin Graphics)

I love West Bank too.
The most obvious one to mention is
Law of the West
That trilogy of Accolade games (Hardball, Law of the West and Psi 5 Trading Company) were brilliant at the time, even on tape. _________________ |

High Noon and West Bank are my favourites as well. I've always loved High Noon, it's so simple but still so much fun. And West Bank is really addictive. I'm tempted to play it right now in fact!
Hopefully The Wild Bunch will be as much fun to play. Just checked the website because of this thread, apparently I'm one of the pre-order winners! |

My vote is for Law of the West
I am looking forward to the Wild Bunch. How much better is it than the Spectrum version? |

I remember enjoying playing Kane (there's also Kane 2) and Outlaws.
Last one was my fave cowboy game for c64. I just loved its graphics and good animation. _________________ |

The one I spent most time with is surely Law of The West, great game! But also a fair bit of Hign Noon, Kane and Outlaws. Btw Outlaws I had completely forgotten about until it was mentioned here above! Thanks

Another for Outlaws, although it got a bit of a slating... I rather enjoyed it
A bizzare one would be SEUCK's very own Outlaw game which was very well done - though sadly ripped off to death by everyone first knocking games out of the tool. _________________ |

d0c: Would it be too much trouble for you to actually link to the games so that your posts are more than redundant art exhibits? _________________ Here's to feeling good all the time. |

What bother would that be? The "Add Lemon64 game to post" function adds the link automatically.
And you've got some nerve calling me lazy. I've lost track of the number of times I've had to post links to GameBase64 or CSDB for you because you couldn't find them for yourself. Are you lazy or stupid or both? _________________

Western Games is pretty odd. It bet its the only computer game where you get to milk a cow. _________________ Tor Johnson - The swedish angel.

If you count in non-commercial games, there was also a cow-milking event in Ostfriesland Games
And I never managed to get even a single drop of milk out of the cows in both games _________________ cement is more interesting than people think!!! |
