Hi guys, I'm alive... and still 100% clean! I've not been around for a while 'cause the 64 hasn't been much on my mind, to tell the truth. I'm sure I'll be back here at some point. Peace. |

Time flies.... Already I've joined Lemon64 for nearly the same time as the actual 7 years of my boyhood C64/C128 ownership!

people come and go, no?
crickey I've been here for over 10 years now. I was pretty active on the old forum too.
it's strange that long time posters often don't show up anymore.
I work, I have a wife and I travel often but I always seem to find the time to check out lemon on a regular base.
I can't picture myself losing my interest in the good old breadbin all of the sudden.
ohyeah where's qazi by the way? haven't seen him in ages.
Also MTR1975 (Marc Ross) and CORE321 (Mike...) I wonder where they hang out these days... (if anyone but me remembers these blokes) _________________ |

That's why I started this thread - I understand people may join and ask a question and disappear. Just strange that people who were prolific contributers suddenly disappear.
Yes people have their own lives - but they had them when they were posting too. I understand the interest may wane a little but when you make no postings for a number of years - I just can't ge tmy head round that!
Hope you guys search for me if I ever disappear! _________________ |

One guy I was always wondering about was gklinger. He and I sometimes never saw eye to eye but his Commodore 64 knowledge was fantastic and I really respected him for that. I wonder what happened to him. _________________ |

Yeah, gklinger had a certain style all his own, but you could see him getting ever more pissed off as time went on. Before he left someone put up a post having a real go at him about something and then poof, just like Kaiser Sozy, he was gone. And so was the post. Too bad. |

He was also an expert on the VIC-20, PET and pretty much all things Commodore. When I first got into the C= scene in early 2009, Golan was the first person to respond to my posts on both Lemon and Denial and was a valuable source of information as I found my feet.
The C= community is a much lesser place without him. _________________

One of the last emails I got from Golan was this one. Am I the reason for his disappearance?

I can't believe you've never voted on any games -- not even Green Beret!
