Okay, I'll get on that.. Implementing the medals will mean I'll have to make an animated standings gif to get it on the board automatically. I don't know what that'll do to the filesize though. |

Yeah, medals !
Of course, animated ones would be great, but I wouldn't be too dissapointed, if they were not animated... |

Shocktrooper... I have to say, I think the .jpg idea is a great idea for the scores for each round, but I'm not fond of it for the Scoreboard; I prefer the old system of having it in text as a forum post. We'd get the old spinning medals back that way!
I know, I know, I got lazy last year and stopped doing the icons for each individual game... well, ok, what actually happened was I lost my pc due to a huge viral infection and I haven't been able to track down a decent graphics program which makes gifs with transparent backgrounds. Somebody point me at such an application and I'll start doing them again tomorrow! _________________ Hey, you. Dumbass. Yeah, you in the tank. Cosy in there? |

Shteev - Adobe/Macromedia Fireworks is the best tool for the job.
btw Id be glad to help out a bit in this corner. I am a developer by trade and have done a fair bit of web design/development also.
I would happily design and host a dynamic scores table which can be linked to from this forum.
I can make it so players can enter their score online - and get an instant update of the tables and standings.
I can sort the graphics out too - i.e. medals etc.
Dont want to tread on anyones toes, but just give me the nod and I'll try and have it sorted for Junes compo... _________________ If it bleeds, we can kill it |

Did I mention free? |
Isn't it a question of how to define "free" ? |

Sounds good to me. I started on that early this year, but since phpbb doesn't support non-image image links, and I'm hosted on a shared server, the only option I had left was .htaccess rewrites and I just didn't get to that yet. What's up here works for what its worth, but I don't have the time nor the motivation at the moment to finish this. The original plan was to finish the app, and get someone else to do the scores, but if you can get it working that fast, feel free |

It would be cool if the compo results were implemented into the Lemon64 site itself. Some sort of "hall of fame". |

Why do have some people less points in the standings after 7 rounds compared to the standings after 5 rounds!?
After round 5 there were 20 people with 90 or more points, now it's only 16.

Probably, or probably not?
I once had 130 points (75+36+19) - now it's 79!?
Is that some kind of inactivity penalty!

Don't call me picky but after 3 rounds I had 130 points - now it's 129!
