Is there any easy way remove 3 pins.. I would like to use cable with Vic20.

Any tips/hints? Confused

Yes, heat the pin you don't want for a while, then pull it! The plastic will melt when the pin gets hot and you'll be able to remove it easily. That's how i made all my C64 cables, using the generic DIN plugs from Maplin's in the UK.

How do you heat it? Is lighter bad idea?

I got 3 pins off.. I dont know if lighter was good idea.. But pins that are left are now black.. Bettery try to clean them.. Very Happy

I havent burn house yet.. Wink

I would have suggested a soldering iron to remove the pins...
Now, to clean them... hmm... a fine sand paper or a file? Smile

I dont have soldering iron.. Well.. Cable works now.. Very Happy

Only needed paper, not sand paper. Laughing

Yes.. Plastic did melt a little.. Wink
