No score, but a few errors I want to point out.

I think it should be 'round 7' instead of 'round y'

and also, the score picture does not work.

just wated to let you know Wink

Cheers. I'm going to stick that link in the competition thread if that's ok.

It doesnt remember what the high score is on my system. Is this to do with my CCS settings or is it the version itself?

Seems like a good conversion, and its definately harder than the arcade; your harpoon doesnt dissapear instantly when it connects with something, and you can't run sideways off ladders until you're at the top. I'm also finding the collision detect a bit mean, but I imagine that'll just take some getting used to.

At the last count I was at level 3-8

It's the GameBase 64 original cartridge version, and the same thing happens with WinVICE too. It seems to be quite hard to take a pic after you lose your last life Confused

Okay, well, if we can't solve this problem, we might end up having to play the disk version after all. Can anyone help?

Best to just cut our losses and go for the disk version, methinks.

The collision detection sure seems to suck on this version. I keep getting killed by balls that haven't even touched me. I've never met a cartridge version that was better than a disk version.

I popped in the cart in my 64 two days ago and noticed the same thing Smile Wasn't a horrible thing though as I finished a couple of levels and wasn't even dead when I switched it off. Far too hot in that room for gaming Sad

Ok, well, I disabled the cartridge emulation to stop the thing working, still haven't figured out how to eject it tho...

Disk version at gamebase does exactly the same as the cartridge version, 'game over' screen cuts in too quick to screenshot at end of game and doesn't save the highscore. Go forth, brethren, and find me a disk version which saves!

Ah, that version from Dohi's site is excellent. I had suggestest the cartridge version because the disk version i had from GB64 required true drive emulation which was quite annoying.

Need lots of practice with this game i think. Smile

27'950 (on level three I think) at the moment (no screenie 'cos it's a crap score.) One minute I was rocking the gun powerup, shooting down everything, and then I'd boxed myself in with no safe was of escape. Eejit.
