Today I began reliving my gaming years when I recevied a SlikStick and Epyx500XJ in the mail (ebay). I also just picked up a Taihaho TH-002 300 baud modem as well, purely for sentimental reasons. It was my first modem. Saved for months to buy it at a bargain price of $49, if I remember correctly.

The RF modulator is built into the c64's rear. Wink

A couple of weeks ago I got an SX-64 from a workmate. It was in very good condition cosmetically (just the odd scratch on the plastic) and it even came with the original carrying bag for the cords and manual, a CP/M cartridge and disk, around 30 disks with games (non-originals), and two original games disks (Cauldron II and some budget compilation). The screen was blank when powered up, but a PLA scavenged from a C64 PCB that I keep for spares solved that. Now it woks perfectly, and I've installed a fan and put heatsinks on the PLA and SID to keep it alive for what will hopefully be a long time.

I've wanted an SX-64 since I first saw one in the mid 80s so I'm very happy about this.

As a bonus I also got his old Oric-1, a nice British 6502-based micro.

My workmate hasn't decided on a price yet, but he says that it won't be high.

Euroopan Kartta and Nero 2000, both on cassette. Plenty of other stuff as well, but they're not worth mentioning here Smile

Not exactly C= stuff, but somewhat close:

I got a Amiga 1200 w/ HD and a Amiga 600 Board to replace my old (broken) one.

Thanks a bunch again, Shem Smile

I believe that this qualifies as Commodore stuff for the simple reason that Commodore made them. Wink

I doubt they would count as 8-bits though (unless you split them in half)

... yeah I know my humour is getting really bad... Silly

got some new stuff today through my work... for free!

Arrow 2x c64 (breadbin) 1 working, one not. the working one is missing the logo, but I can always swhich the cases. lots of yellowing from the sun (any way to clean this?).
Arrow 1x C2N, Boxed with manual (is still at work).
Arrow 1x Datasette from other manufacturer (is still at work).
Arrow 1x Monitor. Probably monochrome, but it only gives a green colour. with a 40/80 collumn swich on the back.
Arrow 1x Simons' Basic cartrige.
Arrow 3x C= PSU, cheesewege model. (there were 4, but one was in very bad condition, so I just threw it away). Not tested yet.
Arrow 1x Serial (diskdrive?) cable. No diskdrives though... Sad

that's about it...

Best of Elite Vol. 2
Kick Off 2
Maniac Mansion

Those are all loose without box and manual... Sad... But it's better than having a cracked copy of them.
