I have the original game but it's up in the loft and I can't be bothered finding it. However I managed to get a version from the net which runs without the CD and includes an installer.

However my SuperAntiSpyware detected a Trojan Agent (Gen-Krpytik)
on 111 of the DLL files.

I tried an ISO version from a different website and it picked these up as well.

Also picked up a Trojan.VXGame.Varient/D - these were on all the .EXE files.

Should I be worried? Is it still safe to play?

I do know some things get flagged up as dangerous when they are not so. Is this the case here?

The Demonoid site is usually ok I have found.

Which one was from Demonoid? Of those two I'd say the first one is the safer bet.

Second one sounds kinda dodgy. I'm used to cracks and some custom installers getting flagged, but all .exe's? Nah, wouldn't bother.

What I'd do tho is pull my sleeves up and dig for the original

Its a whole lot easier going to the loft and finding a disk/disc than removing a virus/trojan.. I wouldn't risk it.. been hit before and it took 2 days to get rid of it..

Can you download it as an iso and play it as a mounted CD?

I may have to do just that - i'm just a tad lazy and get all my ISO images from websites - stuff like the Tex Murphy games for instance (even though I own them)

Saves getting a virus though!
