The problem with sarcasm is that it doesn't always show in written form. So was I jt.

I was actually making fun of my crude Photoshopping skills. Smile

Another year has passed and this year we commemorate 10 years since the Douglas Adams hitched a ride to another dimension.

I am sure he'd be very proud of seeing you on the 25th taking your towels to school, to work, to bed, to the pool, to the bathroom, to the forest, to the pub and other exciting and unexciting places.

Post pics here to show you care.

Cheers everybody.

I want an Original to play. This was one of the few Originals I ever purchased. I was poor back in the day.

Sadly, I let it go when I sold all my C= gear years ago.. Crying or Very sad

Not only will I have my towel, but my cat will have his towel as well! Interstellar felines love Doug as well. Of course, my cat may cut me with razor sharp claws for attempting to make him have a towel with him...oh well Shocked

I'm off today so I'm sitting on my towel as it's a leather chair. No plans to go anywhere and I had too much muscle relaxant yesterday. But I will pop in my HHGTTG (the real one, not that stupid movie) dvd and watch that.

Customer: You got a sore neck mate.
Shane: Not it's towel day.
Customer: Ask a silly question.

Only one customer comment all day from me wearing a towel around my neck
all day. I figured it would attracted more comments. "just out of the shower" etc.

enjoy.
Shane.

Oh my god. I almost forgot where my towel was. Just went out and bought one.

Already attracted a comment of whether I was going to have a shower.

Edit: I bet they feel silly. It started to pour down 30 minutes ago. I am glad I have my towel with me now.

Not from me. I didn't go anywhere or do anything. I did get down a lot of muscle relaxant yesterday but no Vogons construction ships came by so I didn't really need it.

My wife's cousin joined in the fun.

Nice, Thunderer. Not only do you take a towel, you take a lime green one so everybody will notice. Of course, a more subdued color might cause the bugblatter beast to accidently eat you before he realizes you can't see him. That would be bad so a brightly colored towel is a good idea.

As per Lemon tradition, I am bumping this thread again to remind everyone about Towel Day, when we commemorate 11 years and two weeks since Douglas Adams left this earth.

Do you know where your towel is???

I've been suliting Douglas Adams for years on almost every forum I inhabit via my avatar .... thanks for all the amazing Sci-Fi Comedy, your ability to make even the mundane fun was amazing!

RIP Cool

Well, dammit. I could have watched HHGTG today but now it's too late. I spent all my time watching world at war. I've been wanting to watch it so I guess I'll have to watch it next weekend. I am sitting on my towel though. And I have my Babelfish in my ear in case any Vogons happen by to tell me we're screwed.

That's what I get for not stopping by for three days.

EDIT: So I ran out to check for Vogons bugblatter beasts and sure enough they were there.

EDITv.2. I can't believe I got that wrong. Maybe I should just let the things get me. Rolling Eyes

But then my training kicked in and I was safe.
