15325. Made it to the 3rd system, which isn't too bad for my first game in about 15 years Smile

There are 16 star systems containing 128 levels. Shocked . I can barely make it halfway through the 2nd system so far. Difficult game, isn't it.

There are some pretty difficult levels early on, but as it was one of my favourites back then, when I started playing, I remembered some 'entry points', where you can shoot through at a certain time and not get hit or destroyed by the rebuilding of the hive. And on later levels it's essential to keep moving. Once you pick up a crystal, you're invulnerable to bullets for a certain time, and that's the time you have to pick up the next one.

Ahh, you say that about EVERYTHING!! You said Red LED was *bleep* like Spindizzy or Cauldron 2, and one day later you love it and you're close to completing it.

Actually it turned out I was only close to completing the 1st level.

Right, the 1st star system is pretty easy so one should make it to the bonus game in one piece. If you win the bonus game you get one extra shield. These can be extremely useful as spores harm you no more. To use the shield, press run/stop and then using the joystic you can access the main menu and select the shield option.

I've done better without cheating before, but it's just a question of whether I can work out a good route through system 4's "puzzles"... 25175
