In an attempt to sway things in favour of a shoot-em-up or anything that isn't a platformer, I have decided upon the following candidates:

I-O is abbreviated as 'Into Oblivion'. It's a cool blaster Wink

First released by Firebird Software, then Zzeppelin games bought the rights (I think), to publish this game onto their £2.99 budget label. I-O has only 4 levels, but the game is ever so tough and addictive to play Smile
