On Lemon Amiga he threatens to kill people, so this month I only have one vote to please Monsieur Matt (and at the same time expecting him to update the general standings in return):
1. Ghouls'n Ghosts |

1. Space Taxi!
By not-at-all popular request, I hereby repeat my promo attempt from the "vote for my game because" thread:
Imho, Space Taxi is the perfect compo game because:
- It's different from all the other games we’ve played so far.
- Space Taxi is loved by many people, and it’s easy to get into for those who haven’t played it, so there should be lots of participants.
- Simple concept, but lots of variation.
- It’s challenging because of those nasty later levels (Shift-O-Rama, argh!)
- The game actually ends (after about 45 minutes of playing), so you don’t have to go on for hours.
- For those using a real 64 and therefore can’t save: you may practise the harder levels without going through the easy ones by choosing Day or Night Shift.
- When playing Random 24 Hour Shift, you never know which level’s next (I think that both Standard and Random 24 Hour Shift should be allowed in the compo).
- There's no way to whore points.
- „Pad 7 please!“
PS:
2. Impossamole

Okay,
1. Trailblazer
2. Ghouls 'n' Ghosts
3. Rick D 2
4. Hard 'n' Heavy
5. BOFH: Servers Under Seige
My trailblazer campaign is not going very well I'd really rather not play GNG for reasons I mentioned before, the third level is really really hard to complete and so to get your points you just whore away your lives on level one and then go as far as you can on the final life. _________________ |

Can't remember the whore discussion on this one. Otherwise I wouldn't have voted for it. We don't want another Green Beret incident. |

Well, because I'd rather that than nebulus
I think I raised the point elsewhere that because the third level is so damn difficult your best bet is to whore until time runs out on the first level for four out of five lives and then simple go until the third level with the remaining life, since the second level and third level don't have particularly easy or frequent random enemies.
Still, if we could play it for completeness (ie, take a game over screen at the furthest position you reach), now that would be cool _________________ |

Hard to measure that in points for the general standings....on the other hand, I doubt that Matt will ever update it, so why not? |
