Here are the current standings: (Squonk is the leader again)

Squonk 13
MattSid 11
Antares 9
Lobo 7
Matt 7
Kusarigama 3
Zorrero 2
Larsec 1
Phild33 1
Richard of TND 1
Thunderer 1
-----------------------------------------

I have made a ZIP file containing eight SID files, numbered SID1 to SID8. Each one is a 5 second snippet of a SID from a game. The snippet could be a loading, title screen, or in-game tune.

Here's the link to the zipped SID's (Now Uploaded!!!):
http://www.c64faq.com/namethat...tsid08.zip (475K)

1 point awarded for each correctly identified SID tune.

Have fun! Very Happy

I'll give it a few days before posting a clue, there are probably some regulars who haven't had time to listen to the quiz yet. Smile

Sorry to be a pain but, my score should be '7' as I got 6 of the tunes correct in 'Name that SID #7'. Please ammend scores. Thanks Smile

Anyway, Name the SID 8 is hard.

Tune 3 - Uridium
Tune 4 - Snare
Tune 5 - Parallax & Terminal City
Tune 6 - Necromancer
Tune 7 - BMX Kidz
Tune 8 - Never Ending Story 2

Well, as I understand the rules you shouldn't get any points for your reply since the tunes had already been recognized... First to answer correctly gets the point... Otherwise it would be very easy to rack up scores by simply typing in the answers that have already been confirmed as being correct...

@Antares: Wink

BTW, I should correct myself. The only one left is SID4, not SID1 as I incorrectly mentioned above. Rolling Eyes

And where's Matt, he normally posts about now complaining that he was too late. Very Happy

Woohoo! Mr. Green
I'm quite suprised it took this long.

4 - Yes ( Armalyte )

Right, votes will be totalled, and Quiz #09 announced in a few days.

Umm, I think I was editing my post when you posted.

No, I've got to give 24 hours notice of quizzes now, because people were worried about missing them. Smile

Probably post it within two days.
