I voted for Dropzone. Have played it only a couple of times so far and i really like the frantic action. It is going to be a tough challenge for everyone. Never liked Wizball much and hearing that you can reach 999999 points at maximum isnt motivating. Played Pooyan a couple of months ago when it already almost won the voting for a competition round and i must say it is a boring game.
So bring on the nasty aliens! |

I've voted for DROPZONE.
Wizball is a classic, but it's one I suspect many people will have played to the point of boredom already (note to those who haven't: play it now!!!). Pooyan I haven't voted for simply because I've never heard of it. This may not be in the spirit of adventure, but how much of a classic can it be if I've never heard of it?
I haven't played Dropzone in years, so it'll be interesting to go back to (I hope). _________________ I'm 37.

Wizball's an awesome game, but I fall into the category of people who've played the game to death. Dropzone gets my vote easily...damn addictive game.. haven't played it for a while either, but playing it for the compo is just the excuse I need. _________________ |

I voted for Dropzone:
I paste here my comments from the old poll and the voting thread:
Wizball is a fantastic game, but I don't think it would suit the compo with its maximum score 999,999 (quite easy to achieve).
Never played Pooyan, but I would strongly reccommand you Dropzone: awesome game, it doesn't take too much time to have a go, and we can see if we can beat the Llamasoft Lleague scores
Furthermore: Dropzone is a really challenging game, and when you take the hang of it it's a real blast. Honest. Check out Gordon (Houghton)'s review in the reviews section here on Lemon: illuminating! _________________ My top games: 1.Hawkeye, 2.Rainbow Islands, 3.Delta, 4.Bionic Commando, 5.Armalyte, 6.Creatures II, 7.Bubble Bobble, 8.Ikari Warriors, 9.IK+, 10.Archon. |

Having completed WIZBALL and finding POOYAN too repetitive, the only answer is DROPZONE.
Oh, and I've completed the SNES version - can I enter that high score? _________________ |

I've played Wizball and Pooyan to death, but I've never played Dropzone, so i think it's a good chance to try this game. _________________ |

Truth be told, I don't think I've ever played wizball. For that matter I've never played dropzone either. Both would be fine with me, but since wizball seems to have a scoring cap and Gyruss had one, bring on the game that doesn't!
Pooyan is fun but it gets boring after a little while. _________________ Are you on the same island as I am? |

For the record, I voted Dropzone...
Like many others, I've played Wizball to death and can clock it over and over... (I did vote Wizball before, but I don't think I'll vote it again)...
I never played Pooyan till a few months ago. Nice game, but I don't think it'll be as much fun as Dropzone, which I haven't really played since 1987 or something! Archer McLean ROOOLZZZ! _________________ Om. |

If you'd try it a couple of times more, you'd vote for Dropzone _________________

I'm going to ask this question in the most restrained way I can manage:
Pooyan? Are you people serious??? What on EARTH do you see in this game??
Pretty restrained, I feel _________________ I'm 37.

I think I will pass on voting this time!! I will just wait and accept the results of this voting.
The only game I played of these is Wizball but it ain't a favourite game of mine really, but a feeling inside me says that I probably prefer it to Pooyan and Dropzone. |

It's more of what I don't see in Dropzone. A sporatic Defender rip-off sums up that game nicely. |
