Last night all uploaded avatars got deleted and all of the 1400+ member profiles in the chatroom got deleted as well. Now, after a bit of research and talking to my host I got the facts. Lemon was *not* hacked!

A customer who share the same host as Lemon used an
exploit in an outdated script to clear out some of the directories. This happened to some other sites on the network as well.

But fear not, my host do daily backups, and I hope to have all the chatroom profiles and avatars back online within a day or two.

1 Q here... those of us who had uploaded avatars but have changed them to something currently existing (such as myself, Gordo and many others)... will we be able to change them back to what we had before? Cos I don't think I've got my pic still on my HD Sad

This isn't mine Mort... just a very similar one that's in the gallery...

I'm afraid the upload function won't be available from now on due to security reasons. But all of the images will still be there, so those who haven't yet changed avatar will still have the old one.

However, I would recommend that people send me their avatar for inclusion in the gallery, cause if you replace your uploaded avatar with an avatar in the gallery you won't be able to get your old avatar back.

My Avatar is still here and it seems that it was never lost... and if, I've it on my HD... like all the other things I need on PC (Wallpapers, sounds, etc...).

Kim,
Do you know how long it will take before everything is to normal, and you can normally put your avatar in?
I don't really want to send my avatar to you yet, because you said it would be permanent if you place the avatar in the gallery section. And I maybe want to change my avatar somewhere in the future.

I deleted my avatar because it was not working, so I still can't get my avatar up and running.
Kim, do you know when the uploading section is restored?

Not sure if it ever will. Email it to me and I'll add it to the gallery instead.
