Can i hook my 1541 up to my real computer (not trying to dis the c64 just trying to get a point across) And can i copy files onto disk w/ that drive THANKS

You need an XE1541 cable in order to copy them across. This can be ordered online or if you are into electronics you can build it. Info is at:

Sadly , yes i am into electronics im training to be an electronics technition and do free joystick repairs in my free time.
