Hi there,

I posted on this subject before, but I repost, since its almost a year ago and my questions should perhaps be more specific.

I have written dozens of basic progs on my c64 between 1990 and 1994, and also wrote tons of essays etc. on it. These progs are saved. On (well stored) tapes and floppies, that still seem to work properly. I would like, hoewever, to save all this data to PC or at least on a storage device that is not magnetic. The reason is obvious: this is precious ata for me, and I don't want it to get lost.

Thanks for all the tips on ths, to do this jb by myself, but I'm pretty sure i'm nt technical enough to do this. Is there anybody (preferably in The Netherlands, I live in Amsterdam, but I could also ship the selected docs, of course. Furthermore, I could of course save these docs to the preferred data carrier - a floppy, I take it) who could do this for me, paid, off course? I would have to make an inventory, but I guess it concerns some 2 or 3 tapes and 2 floppies, I would say a total of 20-30 docs.

Any help would be very welcome. Looking forward to yr reponse guys!

Hidde

Hey Hidde,

I'm an Austrian living in Amsterdam, and if you want we can transfer the data using my equipment. Best thing would be to copy the tape stuff to disks first, since I have no datasette anymore...
The whole thing shouldn't take longer than 15 minutes. Let me know when you have time, I live in Oud-west.

Hey mrsid,

Thx. Could you pm me your email? I'll go to my mum (yup) asap to transfer all stuff to one or 2 flops. Thanks, great!
