CCS64 V3.9 has been released. The following bug-fixes/enhancements have been made:
- FIX: The TAP of the game 'Bombuzal' now loads properly.
- FIX: A random slow-down problem has been fixed.
- FIX: The 'Sync To Screen' option has been fixed.
Note: The lock-up problem with the game 'Katakis' cannot be re-produced. Tested with CCS64 V3.9 and the Dark Force 100% version of the game.
Download as usual from http://www.ccs64.com. _________________ |

Hi,
Are there any plans to release an iOS (iPad specifically) version of CCS64? Perhaps via Cydia seeing as Apple probably wouldn't allow a fully featured emulator.

When installed the start menu shortcut is named "CCS64 V3.8". |

I don't know about this its keeps continuously locking up my machine, especially fiddling with the video settings in full screen forcing me to do a complete system reboot, because it sometimes jams up and can not get back to the desktop.
Other than that, I like the CRT Television filter, but I see you need an extremely fast CPU to see some smoothness, my AMD Athon II X2 270 dual core processor running at 3.4ghz just doesn't cut it. _________________ Ultima Fan since 1987 |

+100 on that! Please!
I can't believe iOS still doesn't have a proper C64 emulator... |

Easy, because Apple doesn't allow them. Welcome to your walled garden. _________________ |

Apple controls how apps run external code carefully. No chance of having a completely open emulator able to run any file* any time soon.
*does not apply to jail broken devices, of course, but that is at your own risk _________________

Doesn't stop an emulator being released through Cydia. The app store isn't the only distribution method and I think the target audience for such an emulator would likely have a Jailbroken device if they own one.
Some of the most non technical people I know we're able to jailbreak their devices.
