Heart attack? Oh geez, that's awful. He must have been in his mid 40's. Too young to go that way. Sad

You achieve the seemingly impossible (getting an update of a banned game onto a Nintendo machine) and then you unexpectedly die. Very sad indeed Sad

Only in Germany...I'm spitting nails on the fact you can't get it in the states!

After shipping, it will cost me ~$100 for a game I should be able to buy at Gamestop for ~$30...

Evil or Very Mad

Still, I'm sad at his passing... Crying or Very sad

Someone should have activated the cheat mode and given him a longer life. Rest in peace, Armin.

He left his mark - press ARMIN to warp to the next level. (Actually, AMIN is sufficient...)

Rest in peace Armin. This tune/remix is dedicated to one of your memorable games for the C64. May Great Giana Sisters live on. One heck of an unforgettable game.

awwww it's so sad to read this. Giana Sisters is one of my all time C64 favourites. Such a young age too. Makes you think about our own mortality a bit.

RIP Amin. Sorry, RIP Armin Sad

I really should read the General part of the forum more.

I did not even know this until today. Was browsing Lemon Amiga and one of the member's there (Predesda) posted a link to a Kickstarter Project for a new Giana game:

Link to Kickstarter

Upon reading that it was only then I found out he had passed away. Shocker. Great game and I still remember that ARMIN cheat today!

I realised that you only had to hold down AMIN to access the cheat, which I hinted in my last post.

But it's been nearly 3 years now Sad
