Further to our successful collaboration on Smila & Endurion's Soulless and Aleksi Eeben's Green/Redrunner, I'm super pleased to announce that going forward RGCD and Psytronik Software will be collaborating on most of our future releases, publishing games for the C64 on ALL formats (cartridge, disk, tape and digital download).

Forthcoming releases we have in the pipeline (and confirmed formats) are listed below. I'll amend this list when dates and formats change and add information when it becomes available.

Mollusk Redux (RGCD 16KB Cartridge) (AVAILABLE)
An enhanced and improved version of Achim's excellent underwater eat 'em up from last year's cartridge game development competition.

More details can be found here: http://www.rgcd.co.uk/2012/08/...-2012.html

Quod Init Edit (RGCD 64KB Cartridge) (AVAILABLE)
We've been fans of Simone's QIE for years at RGCD with it's simple single screen platforming action and ultra-colourful high resolution graphics.

More details can be found here: http://www.rgcd.co.uk/2012/08/...-2012.html

Get 'Em DX (RGCD 16KB Cartridge/Psytronik Tape & Disk) (AVAILABLE)
Still in development at the time of writing, Endurion, Sean Connolly and iLKke's 'Forget Me Not' inspired maze-based shooter offers endless levels of procedurally generated mayhem.

More details can be found here: http://www.rgcd.co.uk/2012/10/...-2012.html

Space Lords (RGCD 16KB Cartridge) (AVAILABLE)
Finally, the completed cartridge rom of Space Lords has arrived and an initial batch of carts are currently being manufactured.

The first few copies of this game were exclusively sold at Play Expo in Manchester (13/14th October).

More details can be found here: http://www.rgcd.co.uk/2012/10/...e-c64.html

Sub Hunter (RGCD 64KB Cartridge/Psytronik Tape & Disk) (AVAILABLE)
An undisputed modern classic, Enthusi (Onslaught/RGCD) has been busy giving Sub Hunter the cartridge treatment.

More details can be found here: http://www.rgcd.co.uk/2012/12/...e-c64.html

Assembloids 2013 (RGCD 16KB Cartridge/Psytronik Tape) (AVAILABLE!)
Coming second place in the RGCD 2012 16KB Cartridge Development compo, this popular reaction/puzzle game has been further revised and enhanced, with passcode score saving and other minor visual improvements and tweaks.

More details can be found here: http://www.rgcd.co.uk/2013/02/...-2013.html

Spike/Minestorm (RGCD 64KB Cartridge) (AVAILABLE!)
An official, authorised release of TRSI's C64 conversions of two of the best Vectrex titles, both updated to work on NTSC systems as well as PAL.

More details can be found here: http://www.rgcd.co.uk/2013/02/...-2013.html

Nanako in Classic Japanese Monster Castle/Sir Ababol (RGCD 64KB Cartridge/Psytronik Disk) (AVAILABLE!)
As per a request from INSIDE & The Mojon Twins, we'll be bringing the 2010 puzzle-platformer Nanako to cartridge, complete with the 2012 release Sir Ababol as well. Smile

The Psytronik disk version will feature UWOL as an additional game.

More details can be found here: http://www.rgcd.co.uk/2013/04/...ridge.html

You Have To Win The Game (RGCD 64KB Cartridge) (Spring 2013)
One of the big surprises of 2012, this excellent authorised demake of the recent indie PC hit will be released in cartridge format in the near future.

Guns 'N' Ghosts (RGCD 64KB Cartridge, Psytronik Disk/Tape/Download) (Spring 2013)
Endurion's Supernatural project has been receiving a facelift from Smila with a view to releasing the game on all formats.

Woolly Jumper/Sheepoid DX (RGCD 64KB Cartridge, Psytronik Tape/Disk/Download) (Spring 2013)
Woolly Jumper's jumping physics have received a heavy revision by Enthusi and Sheepoid DX will feature all new in-game graphics by Smila as a bonus.

Super Bread Box (RGCD 64KB Cartridge/Download) (Summer 2013)
Official, full conversion of Vlambeer's Super Bread Box for the C64, complete with exclusive content. Cartridge exclusive (due to required additional memory).

Bomberland (RGCD 64KB Cartridge/Download) (TBA 2013)
Samar Productions' multiplayer bomberman clone will be getting a commercial release later in the year.

The Vice Squad (RGCD 64KB Cartridge, Psytronik Disk/Tape/Download) (TBA 2013)
A horizontal scrolling, story-driven multi-stage Spy Hunter type shooter by Achim and Smila, with a soundtrack by Linus.

Hyperion (Psytronik Disk/Download) (TBA 2013)
Smila and Georg's epic metroidvania is currently in development.

Catnipped (RGCD 64KB Cartridge, Psytronik Tape/Disk/Download) (TBA 2013)
Smila & Endurion's next mega release. Cats, balloons and Bubble Bobble style single-screen chaos.

More news to follow! Smile

Well, 64KB is nice, and it is cheaper than us having to mass produce easy flash carts (although that would be awesome), but I've been assured that there are bigger things on the horizon. You won't have to wrestle with your code to reduce the byte count next year. Wink

I just came ...
This is just freaking awesome.

I've never been into cartridges much (in fact, I only own two factory sealed copies of Ms. Pacman, that's all I got on cartridge), but this makes me consider buying a real C64 with a cartridge slot.

Anyways. Could I have your address? I'd be happy to donate my credit card. Laughing
