Predator 2 certainly wasn't an easy nut to crack then! Well how about this one? Round eleven, and back to square one - guess before the second segment and win 3 points... will this round stump you too...?

ROUND ELEVEN - PART ONE:

Good luck! Wink

So what do you think so far? Easier than Predator 2 or not?

Here's part two. PM me with the right answer before part three goes up and you'll have 2 points.

Here we go with the final segment to round eleven. Not many people have guessed correctly, so all to play for!

Will you be kicking yourself then, grande?

Well, this certainly was a battle of the SHMUPS!  Guesses thrown my way throughout this round included Lions of the Universe, Space Gun, Armalyte, Rubicon, Turrican 1+2, X-Out, Blood Money, Alien Storm, Hawkeye, St. Dragon, Menace, Dragon Breed, Alien World, Parsec and Phonia.

But.... the answer I was looking for was the stunning...

CATALYPSE

Guessing really rather quicky(!) and getting 3 points this round were Retroid, Apollyon, merman, Richard of TND.
Grabbing 2 points there was only SLF, who kicked themselves at not coming back to the forum quicker lol!
And joining us for the first time, and securing 1 point into the bargain is Japster, so welcome aboard!

HIGH SCORE TABLE
---------------------
23 - Retroid
21 - flanimal
20 - merman
15 - grande316
15 - SLF
15 - Richard of TND
8 - Apollyon
5 - Prkl
3 - Compounded
2 - Elvir
2 - Arjak
1 - Japster

So Retroid regains the lead from flanimal, our ranks on the high score table grows by one, and we've a 3-way standoff in 4th place with grande316, SLF and Richard of TND all sitting with 15 points!

Next round tomorrow hopefully folks, make sure you come back y'all!

Ha, this one was easy because i played it and having to restart the level once you die almost ruins the game and that feature really stuck to my memory.

It was the intro clue which was the clincher for me, I can't think of many shoot 'em ups with intros like Catalypse.

Reviewed in issue 19 and the demo was given away with issue 20, and on the PD scene too. Definitely check it out!

I can't believe we're now on the twelfth round already! The last few have definitely thrown the proverbial cat amongst the equally-proverbial pigeons, so shall be interesting to see if this next title continues that trend or whether it'll be seen as being a bit easier... let's find out!

ROUND TWELVE - PART ONE:

For those just joining us the full game rules are at the top of the very first page of his thread. Have a gander, then if you know the answer pop me a PM before the second part goes up (usually within 24 hours... ish) and 3 points are all yours.

Another round with no guesses so far, but that was to be expected... it's one of the points in this second part which could give it away though. As per usual, 2 points up for grabs if you PM me with the correct title!

Hmm... seems this one is proving a bit harder than I thought, so will the final reviewer points bring any last minute score increases...? We shall see...

I know I keep saying it, but it's for those just joining us who may not be fully up to speed and to stop public answers, so... keep PMing me your guesses! Very Happy

Well this game was new to me, I'd never heard of it until I read about it a few days ago in a CF, but it certainly looks like an interesting game and the mag says it was hundreds of thousands of levels!  Puzzle games were certainly top of the guesses, with a few platformers thrown in for good measure too.

These included Rodland, Atomix, E-Motion, Lemmings, Reckless Rufus, SWAP, Tilt, Pick & Pile, Cool Croc Twins, Plotting, Inspector Hecti and the Interchange, Flimbo's Quest, Logical, Puzznic, Qix, Clikclak, Welltris and Eye.

But the game I was looking for wasn't Atomix, it was:

ATOMINO

I can hear certain people kicking themselves right now!

Nobody scored 3 points again, but coming in with 2 points are akabei, japster, SLF, Apollyon and merman.
Bringing up the rear with 1 point this time were flanimal and Richard of TND.

So where does that leave the table?

HIGH SCORE TABLE
---------------------
23 - Retroid
22 - flanimal
22 - merman
17 - SLF
16 - Richard of TND
15 - grande316
10 - Apollyon
5 - Prkl
3 - Compounded
3 - Japster
2 - Elvir
2 - Arjak
2 - akabei

SLF and Richard of TND take a leap over grande316 Shocked,Japster jumps up THREE places, and we welcome akabei to the game with 2 points also!

Next game coming soon!  And it's a doozy Wink

Phil.

He's probably on holiday or something like that. It is that time of year where UK people go on summer vacation for a week or two.

Hi folks, sorry for the delay. Just been up to my eyes in work at the minute preparing for the Olympics so haven't even been on Lemon at all for a while. Completely forgotten which game I'd chosen to do next - d'oh! - but here's round thirteen anyway. Will it be unlucky for you...? (sorry)

ROUND THIRTEEN - PART ONE:

As always, if you know the answer PM me within 24 hours or so before part two goes up and you'll have 3 points!

Good luck!

Ok folks, so how about a few more pointers? If you haven't guessed it correctly yet will the second part win you 2 points?

As per usual, the rules are on the first post on the first page, but needless to say just PM me with your answer! Very Happy
