Hi would like names and your review of preschool games for 64. I will find the good ones and download for grand baby to play on one of my 64. She will start school next year and the more she learns the better. I do not know any my self, and if you don't know the name, you can't find it.

Thanks papadwight

papadwight,

I am sure there are many good programs for preschoolers made for the Commodore 64, and one that I have and used with my own grandchildren is Alligartor Mix. This is a very good 'learning to count game' that is both easy to play, but also easy for the child to make progress with. This program was written by DLM Developmental Learning Materials out of Allen Texas in 1984. I hope you enjoy this game and the time with your grandchild as much as I did. Good luck and happy counting! Very Happy

The Fun School series (graded by age), Playdays, and several of the Spinnaker education titles spring to mind...

May not be suitable for a pre-schooler, but I know I played "Cave of the Word Wizard" in grade 2 in primary school. Loved it, for both the spelling and the gameplay itself. The atmosphere can get a little tense though!
When you spell words incorrectly, the wizard will appear and say "It's getting darker!" Very Happy
