That's Round Seven over and done with, and we'd definitely less guesses this time - was it really that difficult?  It's easy for me with the answers right here in front of me, but it'd appear this one had a lot of you stumped!

World Class Rugby, Rugby: The Word Cup, International 3D Tennis, Speedball 1 and Smash TV all failed to make the cut, but one of them was very close indeed!

Because the game was:

SPEEDBALL 2: BRUTAL DELUXE

Congratulations to the following Lemoners!
PART ONE winners with THREE POINTS are Retroid, grande316, SLF and merman.
PART TWO winners with TWO POINTS are Apollyon and flanimal.
And we've one PART THREE winner for ONE POINT and that's Elvir, who joins us for the first time on the table!

So once again more shaking up is happening and here's how things stand at the mo!:

HIGH SCORE TABLE
---------------------
16 - flanimal
16 - Retroid
13 - merman
9 - grande316
8 - Richard of TND
8 - SLF
5 - Apollyon
3 - Compounded
1 - Elvir

Yes we've got a tie for the top position!  But will all that change with the next round?  Come back tomorrow to see if you can guess when we begin Round Eight!

Very Happy

So far 9 people have made it onto the high score table, we need more! So come and join in on the latest round. Guess the next game title within the next 24 hours, before I put up more of the Power Rating, and you'll score an easy 3 points. Or will they be easily earned...? You tell me! Here we go... Wink

ROUND EIGHT - PART ONE:

What could it be...?

Only the one guess so far, and it was incorrect, so there's everything to play for still in this round! Here's part two, with two points ready to be earned by everyone who guesses the game title from these uppers and downers before this time tomorrow....

ROUND EIGHT - PART TWO:

Think those above should bring some guesses my way... Wink

WOW!! What a flurry of activity that last part gave my inbox! Here's the final part of this round for those still undecided on what the game is, you've got (roughly) 24 hours before I reveal the answer and the updated scores!

ROUND EIGHT - PART THREE:

So that's round eight over and done with already!  And for the first time no one has managed to get 3 points!  Yes, for the first time no one jumped in with the answer until the second part of the round.

Some of the guesses this time included Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles: The Coin-Op, Silkworm, All Terrain Vehicle Simulator and the always-excellent Battle Valley!

But the game was actually...

SWIV

The second part, when the different controllable vehicles were mentioned brought no less than 6 correct answers!  Winning themselves 2 points were flanimal, Retroid, grande316, SLF, Prkl and merman.. Welcome to the competition Prkl!
Coming in with their correct guess literally minutes to go until I was writing the results was Richard of TND who has grabbed 1 point.
(I was writing this post yesterday for the forum but got sidetracked at home)

So an interesting round, no doubt, which leaves the High Score Table looking somewhat like this:

HIGH SCORE TABLE
---------------------
18 - flanimal
18 - Retroid
15 - merman
11 - grande316
10 - SLF
9 - Richard of TND
5 - Apollyon
3 - Compounded
1 - Elvir
1 - Prkl

So the only movement, apart from our new entrant, is SLF moving up a notch and overtaking Richard of TND for fifth place.  Great to see so many people taking part, and there are more taking part than just those in the able above, hope it continues to grow Smile

Next round a little bit later today folks!

Oh flip yes! Sorry about that! I've double and triple checked everybody's scores now so the above has now been altered as such:

HIGH SCORE TABLE
---------------------
18 - flanimal
18 - Retroid
15 - merman
11 - grande316
10 - SLF
9 - Richard of TND
5 - Apollyon
3 - Compounded
2 - Prkl
1 - Elvir

Thanks for that! Very Happy

Ready for Round Nine? This game was absolutely raved about by the CF team, but will that make it easier for you to guess what it is...?

As per usual, guess before the second part goes up and you'll get 3 points to either add to your total, or to start your points off with. So here we go.

On schedule (for once) here's part two of the ninth round. Not proving as difficult as I thought this title would be, but still plenty of time to bag some all-important points, so if you haven't joined us yet, come on!

Guess the name of the game below correctly by firing me a PM by tomorrow (Thursday) night and 2 points are yours:

ROUND NINE - PART TWO:

Loads of interaction with this round, more so than any previous one! More guesses definitely, but does that mean more correct answers? You'll find out tomorrow!

First though, here's the final part of the round, so if you haven't been able to guess it yet this is your final chance to win yourself a point...

ROUND NINE - PART THREE:

Well...? Very Happy

A big reaction to this round!  I thought it'd prove much more difficult, especially in the first part, but contrary to that, as you'll see, more points are being giving out than ever before!

So, some of the guesses that didn't hit the mark this time included, interestingly, Delta, Last Ninja 1, 2 and 3, Wizball, Vendetta, Cybernoid 1 and 2, Captain Blood, Crystal Kingdom Dizzy (but that was because of the page's colour scheme rather than the points made by the reviewer lol), Morpheus and Overlord.

That's a LOT of games, but the one I was looking for was...

SUPREMACY

I hadn't actually heard of this game until I read it in CF recently, and it IS indeed a Corker by the sounds of it!

Guessing correctly with just the first part of the Power Rating - amazingly! - and grabbing 3 points were SLF, Prkl, Richard of TND, flanimal and grande316!
Coming in after the second part with 2 points were Retroid, Arjak and merman.
And clinching 1 point with the full Power Rating was Elvir.

HIGH SCORE TABLE
---------------------
21 - flanimal
20 - Retroid
17 - merman
14 - grande316
13 - SLF
12 - Richard of TND
5 - Apollyon
5 - Prkl
3 - Compounded
2 - Elvir
2 - Arjak

So we see the tied positions at the top separate and flanimal takes the lead, but for how long?  Apart from that we welcome Arjak to the high score table, but for now Elvir is still keeping them at bay lol.  And Prkl moves up a position after winning 3 points in this round!

Next round, number ten, coming up later on tonight, and might be a bit more obscure in its Power Rating points... Wink (insert evil laugh here)

17 Wink

I'm intrigued to see what the next Power Rating review will be this time. If it's a crap game (croaker rather than corker), we'll have plenty to choose from Smile

Ok, so can the next title live up to the expectations laid down with my description above? I do think this one is a little more obscure to guess from insofar as the reviewer's Power Rating comments go. But I've been wrong before so we shall see! Without further ado...

ROUND TEN - PART ONE:

Guess within roughly the next 24 hours and 3 points are yours... this one shall be interesting...

Well no one, not one person, has guessed correctly yet, so will the second lot of reviewer points change that or will this be the one that stumps you all? Wink

ROUND TEN - PART TWO:

If you can get in over the next 24 hours you'll be the recipient of 2 points! So bring it on! Very Happy

I've made a list of guesses for this round, and it is most certainly more difficult to get right. Literally ran out of ideas of what the game could be Smile

This has really stumped everyone! Will anyone be able to grab themselves an elusive point in this round? This final point could make all the difference if you're the only one to get it!

So, guess correctly and PM me the answer and a point is yours to keep.

It's probably going to be after midnight before I can update with the results on this one (if not, then tomorrow morning) so you've still got time, folks!

Can anyone crack this round...? Very Happy

Wow I was right, this one really did stump everyone.  ONE person got it correct at the final stage, so hearty congratulations to grande316 who swooped in to grab the only point this whole round!

A wealth of guesses this time, such as (deep breath) Cabal, Operation Wolf, NARC, Total Recall, Narco Police, Death Wish III, Midnight Resistance, Arnie 1 & 2, Airborne Ranger, Cabal, Hawkeye, Operation Thunderbolt, Alien Syndrome, Robocop 2 & 3, Thunderjaws, Xenon, Flimbo's Quest, Rubicon, Jack Bullet and Monty Python's Flying Circus. Phew...

So what was the game?  They say it's not over 'till the fat lady sings, and it was the mention of said ladies which prompted grande316 to think of...

PREDATOR 2

Yep, believe it or not that's the game those comments were about, and here it is:

http://www.lemon64.com/games/details.php?ID=1989

So, with 1 point given away everyone stays where they were, but grande316 closes the gap a little with merman:

HIGH SCORE TABLE
---------------------
21 - flanimal
20 - Retroid
17 - merman
15 - grande316
13 - SLF
12 - Richard of TND
5 - Apollyon
5 - Prkl
3 - Compounded
2 - Elvir
2 - Arjak

Next game coming up later on this afternoon, watch out for it!  Hope you're all still enjoying this by the way! Very Happy

Phil.
