Ok... Watched with my son. Really upsetting. The oldest games were from the NES. They missed about 10 years of video games. Some questions seemed wrong. What game first played the whole american national anthem. Wouldn't it be a Apple II, C64, Amiga, etc... game?

This is why the people need to be re-educated. We were doing just fine until Microsoft and Nintendo became the sum of our history. If there are no 1970s Atari games in the list then they have zero knowledge.

Everyone knows that Nintendo invented video games...

I've said it before and I'll say it again: Somewhere along the line, the North American history of video games became the 'true' one, displacing others like the European one, where Nintendo didn't have market dominance in the 8-bit era...similar story with Japan.

I got as far as Galaga and thought,"Why did they mention the Atari 7800 version when there are screenshots for the arcade release?" I'll probably continue reading the list and return with further comments (i.e. complaints).

BTW: They already did a list about a decade ago.
