Hi! I've found some of my old Commodore stuff, and a SuperCard was in there. It's the 1989 version, but since I haven't found any disk or manual I'm not able to determine its version.

Here are the photos I took: http://imageshack.us/photo/my-...rd90s.jpg/

Thanks a lot for your help!
Jaime

It says right on the board: "Super Card Plus". Also, it's got the extra ROM chip, which only the Plus version had. The RAM will be at address $6000 if you plan on using it with software other than the SC+ software (ie. Maverick).

That looks like the 1541 version of the board.

So it can run the latest version of the software? I was guessing there was some hardware revisions so I may run into problems running some SC+ software Smile

Thanks!

There's only 2 versions of the hardware that matter, as far as software goes. The older non-plus version, and then the newer Plus version. You can use any of the 6 versions of the super-card+ software with your card, but you can't use the regular super-card software.

Actually, there were 4 different versions of the SuperCard hardware, 3 of them the plus version. There was the original 1541 "hair brush" style (pins sticking out of the bottom of it where it plugged into the 6502 socket), the cabled version where the brush style version was used with a cable (original 1571 option), and the direct cable connection to the board (no pins sticking out of it). I also made two revisions of the 1541 board, one with full sockets, and one with only the 6502 socket.

It looks like you have the very latest 1541 version I made.

Thanks Jim! It's very nice to have the official answer from the man behind the card Smile
