I'm wondering if in other countries people use the terms cracked/trained etc or are they called something in the native language? |

"cracked by..." in dutch would sound something like "gekraakt door..." but that sounds rediculous if you ask me.
I loved it when they used terms like "broken by..." in the *very* old days. _________________ |

Oddly enough the first cracked games I had, which led me to start digging deeper into protection schemes said only "The Bandit was here"
"Bandit Boy" or "Shhh THE Cat"
"Broken by" was also a pretty common intro but not alot of fanfare was used back then.

In Italy "cracked" is translated as "sprotetto" that mean something like "de-protected"... |

In swedish "cracked by" is "knäckt av", of "crack" - "knäcka". A crack is "ett knäck". Of course english was used in scrollers etc.
For training, we used the english word and made it "swedish". To train a game = "att traina ett spel".

In german 'cracked' is 'geknackt', which fits the original meaning quite well, but I can't remember what word was commonly used. Didn't even german cracking groups like Red Sector use english language in their intros? |

I don't recall ever seeing a non english intro/scroll text in any intros. _________________ 1 x C64C, 1x C64G, 1 x 1541U-II, 1 x Oceanic OC-118N, 1 x 1581, 1 x AR VI |

"geknackt" or "knacken" was (and still is) a common term in germay - and there are also a bunch of groups that named after it...
