Since I'm doing the restro on the 128D, I was looking at adding a ROM to the empty socket.

Kinda narrowed it to either a Servant ROM or the GEOS ROM.

Question:
How good is the GEOS ROM? I like to play with GEOS from time to time, is this really a good option?

I have a servant ROM in my 128DCR. I tend to drop to a READY prompt instead of using it. I keep seeing something about a megarom or something similar to that name. Was wanting that but not sure were to obtain it. Suppose to have a lot of programs that it comes with.

I was wondering about that. I use a Super Snapshot and like some of it's utilities, but not sure if I'd really use the Servant that much. I guess they are cheap enough, can get on for about $12-$15 USD.

Might have to go with the GEOS ROM.

The Mega/Multi ROM might be a nice choice. I don't remember where I saw it though, and I can't find any info right now.

Now that I have the right word to search for, I did find the thread where I first noticed it. http://www.commodore128.org/index.php?topic=2645.0

Kind of leaning towards this myself. I like the Maverick utilities built in.

I have one for my C128 and C128D. It's really nice having all that software with a click of the Help key. When you order, he let's you pick which key launches the software menu. I also really like having the Maverick software a click or two away.
