This BS drives me bonkers. People just flat out lie that Apple was first at everything.
The KIM1 came out before the Apple I.
The PET came out before the Apple II. It even used Commodore/MOS made chips!

My favorite is Wozniak claiming he "invented color" on computers through some "magic dream" he had (see Youtube).

Haha- the Dazzler board existed since 1975, and I'm sure he saw many demos of it at the Homebrew Computer Club for years before the Apple I or Apple II existed.

But Wozniak had brain damage from a plane crash in the early 80's. He seems to only believe some strange version of history now that he's been told by PR people.

It keeps the apple fans happy and feeling special which keeps them buying apple stuff which keeps apple's stock prices up which keeps Woz rich enough to do the good stuff he does like teaching children about computers....apple computers.

Won't somebody think of the children?

Well said.
I was talking to someone yesterday who just bought a $3,000 Apple Laptop. I had to laugh at them when they rattled off the specs, 5,400 RPM HD, no HDMI port, DVD (no BluRay), the list went on. I pointed out that a new Windows laptop (say HP, Dell etc) would come with an SSD, HDMI, BluRay, 8Gb RAM etc for less than half of that. I don't get it, I just don't get why people do this to themselves to be on the Apple bandwagon.

What about that first comment?
"I cannot believe that Steve is gone, and we - so old ..."

Ten people liked this comment. I can't even understand it.

A friend of mine bought a Tesla Roadster. I had to laugh at him when he rattled off the specs. It had just one cup holder, don't do more than 360km without a lenghty charge and on top of that doesn't even have back seats! I pointed out that a Kia or Hyundai will have several cup holders, drive across the globe without anything but short stops at gas stations and you can take both kids to school. And you could get several kias for the same price! I just don't get why people jump on the tesla bandwagon.
