WANTED: VIC chip *solved*

The VIC chip in my C64 machine seems to be dead. goes hot and the output is flashing colors.

The number on it is: 6567R8 2684.

Thanks, but I don't think it is. My C64 is from the US, and sends out NTSC signals. So I don't your chip would work in it.

I have a crystal ball... it is rectangular in shape, made of beige plastic with a tag on it that says Tektronix TDS 1002.
