1541 1/2 preferably (i know very little about the disk drives availible for c64's, feel free to fill me in!)
Ive been checking ebay regularly for them, however I figure this is probably the place to look!
Im based in the uk, anyone got spare drive and can help me out?
PS. Hello all! Im new around here, looking forward to trawling the threads to educate myself some more on the c64 scene (Im a SID fan, just built myself a sammichSID for some crunchy midi beat-smithery)
Peace! |

Where are you located geographically? 1541 drives (And the PS for 1541 II's) are pretty heavy so shipping could be the greater of your costs.

You should also be looking for an Excelerator + drive or one of its variations, They are decent drives and nice n compact. |

If you find an Excelerator+ or an Oceanic OC-118, just grab it instantly. They're durable and reliable Disk Drives, expecially if compared to 1541s.
Cheers,

Unfortunately I am stateside as well as I have 2 Excelerators up for grabs (both with Jiffy DOS installed.)
I will ship world wide - but yes, shipping is expensive. _________________ Sncboom2k

I can offer you a 1541 for 25,- plus shipping
I can also offer you a Oceanic/Excellerator OC-118 with Jiffydos installed for 50,- plus shipping. _________________ currently looking for:
