Help repairing some old bread bins rescued from a garage

I have three breadbins rescued from someones garage.

They all blank screen, one started up once with a garbage screen, the second had a garbage screen with the dead test cart. the third had no led.

I started pulling and testing chips and Both have working PLAs, VIc II's kernals and character roms have been removed. I'm thinking something in them didn't like the heat. Th only thing I can think of are the capacitors.

Is there anythings else that's super heat sensitive, while not turned on?

Is there a good way to test them or do I just start replacing them?

Used dead test on all three, they started out producing the garbage screen(2 of them) then went totally dark over time.

Try piggybacking... The most obvious is the RAM.

Check your power supply voltages.
You might be testing with bad power supplies.

I'm using a very solid aftermarket CSI powersupply always reads right at 5v loaded. The ps they came with were questionabe and got pitched in the bin.
