I have 2 printers up on eBay. If they don't sell this time I'm afraid I'll have to dump them, which is a thing I'd really hate to do.

Maybe there's somebody here who would like to take them. They are in a decent/good condition and were working when using them long time ago.

I don't want any money for it, just the shipping costs.

I've had them shipped from the USA before with the horrid 110VAC transformer inside. Costs about $100. Probably more by now.

I would expect Germany to be similar.

There was a brand new Boxed one on German eBay a few months back. I was all ready to bid and the guy withdrew the item. When I contacted him he said his mate wanted it so he gave it away for free. Sad

I was so mad. Finally found a nice new one and the sale was pulled.

Ah, but what can you do.. Sad

Seems a shame to waste good Commodore material so I understand your angst at just tossing them in the bin. I do hope some Lemoners in Europe are looking and step up, I am certain the postage would be onerous to The States.
