I would like to get a second MMC Repaly for my other C64 set up, CHAMELEON has too many features I don't need and the prize is way too high. MMC Replay was just fine for me for transferring files and other simple stuff. I want it back!!!

I get your point, ready. However, please realize Protovision is "only" a distributor. We do not decide whether a new batch of MMC Replay is going to be produced or not. The corrert person to contact about this is Jens Schoenfeld. He believes that when Chameleon has been released, many people will sell their MMC Replay so they can afford a Chameleon. I can only guess how many ppl are really going to do so, but I'm sure some indeed will. So wait until the Chameleon has been launched and then watch out for a used MMC Replay.

In my opinion the average C64 user is satisfied with MMC Replay. Using the SD card to transfer files. Maybe the a little above average user find it more flexible to buy a 1541 Ultimate, which costs less than Chameleon.

Chameleon looks very interesting but mostly to advanced users coding demos and games. The average Joe could be satisfied with a lot less, even a dos PC with parallel port and Star Commander for transferring files.

Anyhow, reading about Chameleon is attracting I must say and I might as well buy one one day. Coll idea about the built in C64 info book Smile
