Quickly created a webpage and linked your uploaded ringtones so they are available right now. on cbm8bit.com/ringtones/

This is a work in progress and unfinished. Smile to host them on the c64 web server the html will need to be similar to this due to restrictions inherent in contiki and using a real c64 as a web server.
However on cbm8bit we have a full LAMP server at our disposal so if someone wants to write a web page simular to sfodb I'll host it at ringtones.cbm8bit.com

Anyways you can link them here as well. I'll quickly create a downloader so you can drop your mp3 files right into the ringtones directory and they will be linkable instantly on lemon, then as i notice them i"ll add them to the web page for others to see.
ie Pac Man Ringtone

Feel free to offer better html code, pictures ideas etc.

Could be a real nice project with a little help.

edit: here is the uploader Uploader PM me for the password.
keep the file names uniform ie BoulderDash.mp3 or Lode Runner.mp3 etc

Gow do you get them download links to work - select it and it goes straight to Quicktime player - says I need Quicktime Pro to download them

Any chance of the fabulous Ocean Loaders ( versions 1-5 ) and Rambo?

.mp3 files are set to automatically play with Quicktime on your system, right clicking on the link in your browser then select save file or download.

I use iceweasel under linux and by right clicking on the link, you have a option to save instead of open with player.

If the files were .zip or .rar your browser will automatically download them and save them in a download directory but their .mp3 so it will play them.

What OS do you use. and browser.

enjoy

That is awsome.

i will be creating more soon, not now, the beer is a bit restricting.

I have 1154 .sid files and counting all C64, also the same number of games i think.

Im still in the process of making (learning HTML) a web site dedicated to these ringtones and games. just a basic no jargon straight up downloads.
No chit chat. request via email and download on website.

fnk ace

64 take me home again.
