Hi there everyone,
Just joined this forum today, and may I quickly introduce myself.
My name is Colm, I'm Irish, been living in England over 10 years now after moving here to go to university.
My dad bought our family our first Commodore 64 when I was 10 or 11 I think; I don't rightly remember, but the games, the innocence and freshness of those days have always left a fond place in my heart for the old machine.
I happily remember staying up all night with my brother playing Summer Games and Summer Games II, Airborne Ranger, Android 2 and what have you, before I eventually found Zzap64 in my mid-teens and really found out about all the other games out there. Living on the Northwest coast of Ireland the Commodore 64 was a real antidote to the weather 
Anyway, I have dabbled in retro-gaming on and off since then as my time allows. I'm not a games collector, but an emulation player mostly - I don't miss the minutes waiting for tapes to load (I'm not a purist!). When I saw the games competitions here I thought I should really join in.
My all time favourite C64 games would be (in no particular order):
Paradroid
Laser Squad
Buggy Boy
Tau Ceti
Microprose Soccer
Anyway, I hope to have many thought-provoking conversations with each of you in the not so distant future

Thanks for the links - I shall certainly checkout the Paradroid remake.
It's great to see such creative people out there still dedicated to the C64.
