It's mostly down to timing. Try to start another move too soon and you get the "jerk" animation. You have to release one direction (go the the neutral/centre) postion and then press in another way...

I like what your guys are doing over here. Although I did not join in...I still think that it is cool that you are playing this game.

My score for the second round (sorry for the delay):

9.6

I can't get 10 points either.

I'm having problems with this in Vice... can't seem to do the uphill climbing sections, on keys or stick.

Ugly event, this one. Tonight's the only time I've had/will have, so here's my best:

2:53.
I suck.

I've had this problem too. Might want to use CCS for this one, haven't had a problem with it.

Great! Biathlon was always my favourite event. My best time back in the days was something like 1:5x mins i think.

I have no problems whatsoever playing Winter Games on Vice. Maybe i am just used to using the keyboard for years? Anyway it took me some tries to achieve a run without any misses while shooting. I reckon that skiiing time can be improved to about 1:40 mins.

That result of mine is just a matter of practicing about 1425 times between 1988 and 1990 Smile

Next event is speedskating, right? I like that one also but i always wondered about how i got my world record of 0,26.2 mins Smile I tried to improve it for years and years but always struggled to get even close to it. Let's see what this night brings, hehe.

I changed tactics and abandoned my gamepad for the keyboard and voila... a much faster course time.

2:22 Very good for me (I'm playing this compo with only a few attempts for each stage).

Later I will try other time, hoping to improve the time Laughing
