Hello, guys! First of all I would like to greet Kim Lemon (nice work, pal). Few months ago I made a program to transfer whole disks between C64 and PC. But this works slow as the data should go from 1541 to C64 and then to PC or vice versa. So I want to make a program that can read/write from/to 1541 directly (without using C64). But I have problems with PC timers (I/O addresses 40h to 43h). Can anyone give me some informations about this addresses?

Another transfer program for disk-drives to PC directly and vise versa ??? Well, there's already one existing which works fine, and it's called Star Commander.

You can find this program here:

Could be that they can help you with your program, dunno.

Yeah, I know about this program. But I wanted to make my own so I can learn the serial IEC protocol, the lame timers I mentioned and some more stuff about C64 and PC in general.
Anyway, thanks for your reply.
