Compoversion can be found here.

Post screenshots of the title screen as the in-game screen is identical to the original so we can't know which version you played. Title screen has slighly altered colors for that purpose.

Let me know ASAP if there are any anomalities (except for missing extra lives, of course! Wink )

well, my first result isn't very good. Got stuck in a rather easy cave, but I'll complete that one in the next try:

Firefox: 4'700 points

So he's the one who's going to beat me in my third favourite game? Sandman beat me in Paradroid, Blabgorius IV in H.E.R.O. Evil or Very Mad

@tnt: I notice that you get a bonus life for each bonus level, whether you complete it or not. Is that intentional? I quite like it, tbh, since the bonus caves in Boulderdash I are a bit sucky.

Remarkably, my failures mostly came from walling myself in as opposed to getting myself crushed, but still:

Yes, you always get bonus life when entering the intermission. Also, you don't lose life if you die in one of them. I don't see that as a problem as you are going to lose lifes faster then one per each four levels, at least when you reach difficulty level 5.

After getting killed in a Bonus-level (Intermission) the game moves on to the next regular level (Cave).

There's also an interesting version available from Marek Roth. His version fits for the game-compo, too:

Though, as you ordered it as a "hardcore" version, it gives no bonus lifes at all, not even when entering a bonus round. So, if you prefer making your life more difficult than those of your competitors, go ahead! Very Happy
