Very nice !!!!!!

I'm concerned about equestrian, I think most of people will make zero, and all will be even.

I would have prefer in swimming having the 4x100m relay and not the 100m since it would be more easy to separate score this way. (longer play, more chance to have different scores)

And in your topic you forgot to propose HesGames, which is a very nice multi-events olympic simulation as well... anyway Wink

Anyway, very good idea ! Grats !

It's also pretty easy to get 10.0 in the gymnastics event, but I think the fun is much more important than the score, so perhaps we could leave things as they are.

What a rainbow of colors we have on the stand's thread! xDDD Seems nobody has the same pallette on the emu...

Please try to post your screenshots with the format [event][score][Name]...

I've added the format you asked for. It looks like you screwed it up yourself. Instead of [event][score][name] you have a link to some Spanish soft porn pages Laughing

About posting more than once:

This sounds like you are going to post more than one shot for this part, doesn't it? Wink

Why not let people post more than once if they just edit their first post?

You should do a medal count by country as well...Go Denmark, go Denmark!! Razz

Oh no, it's the "image hosting service" of my bro. I dont know why when you click on the screen, it doesnt appear on the new page (of course, it has a little bit of porn SPAM for the hoster... ;D) It works fine every time I'd used it... Anyway, you must use the [event][score][name] only in the subject of the message

nah, I will not... I mean "Im just posted my first, and my last go" Im on yakyak.org too, and rule this compo will be hard enough to add extra job doing a lot o postings Smile

hannibal wrote:

You can post all the scores you want for the same event. I only ask gently, trying to skip a "score flood" for all contestants. Wink

We'll do at the end of the compo Smile

I totally agree with you Dany. A bit dissappointing to win my first competition when only 4 players participate. It's not like these events take hours to complete. I spent less than 10 minutes on getting that 626 pts score (which btw is 83 pts higher than my old hiscore Razz ). Today I played it with Emil for about 40 minutes till he got the hang of it (and me getting 620 pts Mad ).

So find time for these mini-compos folks. The best part of it is perhaps the choosing a nation thing. It brings a special patriotic feeling to the games. Posting your score with your national flag is just great Very Happy .

Arg, B*llshit, Dany you won Evil or Very Mad It's a baaaaad idea to edit posts because it makes it pretty difficult to see if somebody beat you. I've been checking a lot (on Emils behalf) to see if somebody posted in the thread, but the editing doesn't change the name of the last poster......That sucks. Anyways, concrats Dany.

Yep. I note that too after editing my post... If it's of use, I did this mark at 23:45 (got a lot of luck...) No more edits, to submit a new score, use a new post, but please, post only the final (or "I think it was my final, but look, this it's better only 5 minutes before the end)...

One thing: I understand why you want to limit the number of screenshots because there are a lot of compos in that thread. However I think that's one of the best things about competing on the net, that people post their progress.
So I have to bring on yet a suggestion: Either

A) Let people post scores, not screenshots. Only use screenshot for the final one.

B) Split the thread into more threads and allowing people to show their progress, just like in Matt's compo.

What do you think, Dany?

Good Idea... What about to post scores (with screenshots or not) here, on the official thread, and post the Final ones on the Stands thread?

Emil is a boy's name, while Emilie, Emily, Emilia are girl's names in Denmark.

Thx for the honor, I'll tell him tomorrow Wink
