does anyone remember the "inofficial" Elite 2 ?
I don't mean that "strategy" Empire, but the "Space trade/flight/fight" Empire.
Has anyone completed it and received another ship (like the Wolf Attack Ship) ?
Guess I have a buggy version or simply are too slow to complete the missions in time Sad

If u talk about Frontier - Elite 2. The game was great until i noticed a bug which make u cheat. Try selling your ship with passengers still in it. It will say cant sell with passengers in it. And the Computers thinks u already have sold it. So keep doing it again and again for unlimited money Very Happy

Empire (Firebird) was reviewed in Zzap issue 14/p112.
I attempted to play it in the '80s but I just couldn't get excited by it. After playing Elite, this game was a bit of a disappointment. I haven't seen any tips anywhere.

If you need a different copy, try the Links or:

Yes, I had the game too, but it didn't really seem very convincing to me. Elite is my fav game ever and I think that, compared to it, Empire! is just miles behind. Or should I say light-years away... heh heh... erm... yes, that was stupid Razz

I must say that I too prefer the original Elite, but recently have been playing Elite - The New Kind by a guy called Christian Pinder, here is his homepage. It is a great remake of the original that we all know and love, I'm sure I've mentioned it on here before.

Surprised Hey Antares - your fav game ever eh? I admire your taste! It's well worth downloading and checking out, if you haven't already. (Here I am, rattling on and you've probably reached Elite status already! Razz Laughing )

Thank you! Smile I bought the game in England (it was impossible to find the C64 version in Spain, as usual Sad ), and played it a lot. But I never reached Elite status. In 1991 I went to the University and had to leave my hometown, so I'm stuck at Deadly status since then. Smile
