Yes, it is ok to join in at any time. We play one game per month (so Thrust compo is already over and we are in the last week of Wonderboy in Monsterland compo). Scores are verified by screenshots. Check out the FAQ in the first post of each competition thread, or the sticky topic.

I always jump in feet first Smile

this is the only retro games forum I've seen with regular competitions..... so that's the main reason why I registered!

C64 wasn't really my fave machine (that honor goes to the amiga after it), but the 64 still holds a special place in my heart... and to compete (and hopefully kick ass) with total strangers online on games that I haven't played since I was a nipper? Well worth the registering

I'm sorry to say, though, that the camera method won't work on my screen grabs, 'cause my server doesn't allow direct linking Sad

To see my screenshots it's always necessary to copy the link and paste it in the browser's address line. I've tried to solve that but I couldn't, sorry.

Super cool feature. The icon looks good. Here's a suggestion: How about using the same medal icons in the general standings as in the monthly results instead of (1 bronze, 2 silver)?
