Which emu is best for Wings of Fury?

I seem to have trouble playing Wings of Fury with the Ccs64 as it plays to fast. Any Suggestions?
This was my fav game and i spent hours playing it..even though i never got past the first island.

If it runs to fast, why don't you just adjust the speed of the emulator?

While we are at it... do you know what you've got to do to get past the first island? I remember I bombed all the targets and got back to the carrier, but nothing seemed to happen. Perhaps you've got also to shoot down the zero that will appear once all the targets are destroyed?
